Melanie Carr Gallery operated an artist-run hybrid project space directed by Carr. MCG presented thoughtfully curated work from emerging to mid-career artists while serving as a hub for open exchange to all interested in further engagement and awareness of contemporary art and the artistic process.
2020 - present
MCG currently exists as a working artist studio for Carr and artist Katherine Clarkson. Both can be found working in the studio on most days and operate independently. The front of the space remains a gallery for the artists to exhibit their work and to mount small exhibitions that can viewable from the street.
Melanie Carr Galley remains dedicated to the practice, exhibition, and sale of contemporary art and design.
